Lesson 1: The Diversity Around Us
This lesson, “The Diversity Around Us” (TCTL.4.1) from the Today’s Challenges; Today’s Leaders curriculum, engages students in activities to build awareness and appreciation of diversity. Students write an “I Am” poem to identify their unique traits, share with peers, and use a web graphic organizer to explore how those traits can be viewed in positive versus negative light.
