Lesson 2: Safety in Electricity
This is Lesson 2 of 7 in the National FFA Organization’s Electricity Unit, supplementing the Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems CDE. It introduces students to electrical safety through a “Watt Could Go Wrong?” worksheet featuring a RAFT writing assignment, scenario analysis stations, a hazard-spotting drawing activity, and reflection questions, teaching students to identify electrical hazards, recommend safe alternatives, and understand key safety devices.
