Lesson 2 – Service to Others

This is a substitute-teacher lesson plan (“Lesson 2: Service to Others”) from a Personal Development series for grades 7-9. Through a one-period activity, students identify people who provide services in their lives, define service in their own words, research service opportunities in print media to build a collage, brainstorm ways they can serve others, and write thank you cards to recognize the service of others.
