Lesson 3 – Disability Awareness (PowerPoint)

Lesson 3 (“Disability Awareness”) of the Assistive Technology for Rural Youth curriculum, produced by the Breaking New Ground Resource Center at Purdue University for the National AgrAbility Project. The lesson uses a PowerPoint presentation, discussion questions, and a matching worksheet to teach students about the definition and categories of disabilities, their prevalence in society and agriculture, attitudes that create barriers, and ways FFA chapters can help include people with disabilities in their communities.
