Lesson 3 Malnutrition Effects
“Malnutrition Effects” (Lesson TCTL.1.3) is a classroom lesson from the “Today’s Challenges; Today’s Leaders” series in which students work in nine groups to construct a paper human body while reading and presenting facts about hunger and malnutrition. Through the activity, presentations, and discussion questions, students examine the causes, statistics, and bodily effects of global malnutrition and connect them to ideas of teamwork, healthy eating, and compassion.
