Lesson 3: The Value of Compromise

“The Value of Compromise” is a 60-minute leadership lesson (TCTL.4.3) that helps students understand conflict and compromise through interactive activities. Students physically position themselves along a wall to express preferences, then work in small groups on a “Banana Wars” scenario where two countries must compromise over a scarce resource, learning that compromise is essential among world leaders, families, and workplaces.
