Lesson 4: P3=A (Planning x Practice x Persuasive = Action)

This lesson, part of the “Today’s Challenges; Today’s Leaders: Real World Conversations for the Classroom” series, teaches students persuasive communication in an advocacy context using the framework P3 = A (Planning x Practice x Persuasive = Action). Students engage in impromptu speaking, learn the keys to credibility (expertise, trustworthiness, goodwill) plus dynamism, deliver a short persuasive speech in a mock newscast interview format, and write a news article applying the key terms.
