Lesson 8: Prepping for a Career With Plants

This is the eighth lesson in a plant science career unit, “Prepping for a Career With Plants,” in which students participate in an interactive career preparation simulation, taking on roles as job seekers, hiring managers, and industry professionals. Through a five-part “Grow Your Future Career” worksheet, students research a plant science career, write a cover letter, build a resume, conduct mock interviews, and create a career vision board to gain hands-on experience applying for jobs, interviewing, and networking in the plant science industry.
