Lessons 4 and 5 – Developing Character Traits in Others

This two-day substitute teacher lesson plan, part of the Personal Development 10th-12th Grade Series, teaches students how to influence and develop character traits in others. Students brainstorm key character traits, then work in pairs to create story boards and a children’s book (for ages 5-9) that conveys a chosen trait, and reflect on how mentoring contributes to their own personal growth.
