Lessons 4 and 5 – Sharing Agriculture’s News
This two-day lesson (Lessons 4 and 5 of the Current Events 7th–9th Grade Series) has students work in groups of three to create an agricultural newsletter highlighting local, national, and global current events. Over two class periods students first produce a pencil/paper draft and then enter it into a word processing program for a final electronic product, guided by a Newsletter Project activity sheet and scoring rubric.
