MS.18 Understanding Adverse Effects of Risk Behaviors

This is LifeKnowledge Lesson MS.18, “Understanding Adverse Effects of Risk Behaviors,” a middle school FFA lesson. It teaches students to define risk behaviors (such as substance abuse, sexual behaviors, violence, academic failure, delinquency, and negative peer relationships), explain their negative physical and financial effects, and identify methods for warding off health risks and negative peer pressure. The lesson uses interactive teaching strategies and includes an assessment.
