MS.38 The Importance of Listening

This is a LifeKnowledge middle school lesson (MS.38, “The Importance of Listening”) from the National FFA Organization that teaches students about effective listening through hands-on activities. Through a “telephone” game and a partner drawing exercise, students demonstrate and compare one-way and two-way communication models and learn the role of feedback in clear communication. The lesson includes an interest approach, content/teaching strategies, application activities, and a student assessment with answer key.
