Nick Wulfekule – Outdoor Recreation SAE

This National FFA lesson plan, “SAEs: Pathways to Careers,” uses a video about FFA member Nick Wulfekuhle’s two outdoor recreation Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) to teach students how SAEs can build upon one another and connect to future career goals. Through two worksheets, students examine outdoor recreation SAEs, expand on existing SAE examples, and brainstorm their own SAE pathways toward potential careers.

Nick Wulfekuhle from the Richmond 44 FFA chapter, shares his experiences with his Supervised Agricultural Experience in outdoor recreation, focusing on maintaining the North Country Trail. He also works at Crooked Lane Farm, gaining hands-on skills in putting on events.
