Paxton Dahmer – Your Path (Spanish)

“Tu camino” is an FFA lesson built around Paxton Dahmer’s 2020-21 National FFA Central Region retiring address, in which he explains that it is okay for one’s path in life to differ from that of peers. Students watch the video, complete a worksheet, and create a five-year personal timeline of important milestones with drawings and explanations. The resource includes a lesson plan, student activity sheets, and an answer key (in Spanish).

Paxton Dahmer, the 2020-2021 National FFA Central Region Vice President, delivers his retiring address, opening with introductions from his brother Quinton and roommate before sharing personal stories. He uses anecdotes—being picked last in gym class, a trust circle at FFA camp, hosting Ukrainian exchange students, and a fellow member named Allison who earned her state degree despite a serious car accident—to illustrate themes of overcoming comparison, celebrating others’ differences, and showing up as the best version of yourself. The address closes with a tribute from his teammates honoring his impact on the organization.
