Planning Guide – Community
This is the Community Planning Guide in the FFA “Steps to Effective Advocacy” series, built around the Agricultural Literacy and Advocacy Model (Plan, Develop, Do, Reflect). It walks an individual student or small group of FFA members step-by-step through planning and conducting a consumer education advocacy activity/event focused on helping community members understand food labels. The guide includes guiding questions, worksheets, and 13 resource handouts (SMART goals, advocacy plan, food label cards/quizzes with answer keys, a nutrition facts survey, timeline, SWOT analysis, social media tips, and a press release template).
