SAE Planning

This National FFA lesson plan, “SAE Planning,” guides students through planning a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) using a series of worksheets built around the SAE Grant Application. Students complete activities including a “Building Bridges” brainteaser on planning ahead, SAE brainstorming, SMART goal setting, planning and timeline development, and budgeting. The resource is intended to be delivered in short segments across multiple class periods after SAEs have been introduced.
