Student Activity Sheets – Feeding the World – Part 1

This is a multi-part student worksheet packet on global hunger and food insecurity titled around “Feeding the World.” Through six activities (Fundamentals of Feeding the World, Food Insecurity Basics, Feeding the World Globally/Nationally/Locally, and Feeding the World Superheroes), students define what feeding the world means, research FAO and Feeding America data on undernourishment and food insecurity at global, national, state, and local levels, and explore agricultural careers via AgExplorer. It uses figures, charts, maps, and online resources to build understanding of food insecurity and ways agriculturists, consumers, and policymakers can address it.
