Sun Safety Relay – Dress for the Job!

“Sun Safety Relay – Dress for the Job!” is a team-based relay activity station where students race to dress a mannequin, scarecrow, or teammate in sun-safe clothing and accessories for outdoor agricultural work. The activity teaches the “High Five Sun-Safe Practices” (sunscreen, hat, shirt, sunglasses, and shade) by having teams meet as many of these practices as possible within a time limit, followed by a group discussion of why each item is or isn’t sun safe.
