Unit 2 Assessment
This is a Unit 2 assessment on Food Quality Evaluation with an included answer key. It contains two sections: a hands-on “Food Product Specification and Compliance” station activity where students inspect prepared food samples (applesauce, pasta sauce, Total cereal) for weight, labeling, fill level, packaging, and safety, and a “Food Contamination Customer Inquiry Letters” section where students read consumer complaint letters and identify whether each describes a food safety or food quality issue and classify the hazard as chemical, physical, or biological.
