This LifeKnowledge lesson (AHS.49, “Promoting FFA—Opening Doors”) teaches students to recognize the tangible and intangible benefits of FFA membership, understand the FFA dues structure, and connect FFA participation to their education and personal goals. Through discussion activities, brainstorming, and analysis of the dues-to-benefits return, students learn the value of belonging to the organization and identify local activities that can help pay FFA dues. The lesson can also be adapted to promote FFA membership to key leaders, administrators, or parents.
