Windows Overview – MS.1 – Defining Leadership
This is a National FFA Organization “LifeKnowledge” middle school lesson (Lesson MS.1, “Defining Leadership”) from the unit Introduction to Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Success. Through a “Who Am I?” activity and worksheets, students identify famous leaders and their characteristics, develop a working definition of leadership (defined as influence), and choose three leadership characteristics they want to develop in themselves. It includes an interest approach, teaching strategies, application/SAE/FFA activities, an assessment with answer key, and student handouts.
