Kevin Wanzer Brings a Message of Kindness and Acceptance

The First General Session of the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo held many memorable moments, including the presentation of state flags, the opening ceremonies with the national officers and an electrifying kickoff speech from Kevin Wanzer

Wanzer, a nationally recognized motivational speaker, ignited the crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium with a comedic yet challenging talk about leadership and acceptance. His background is impressive and unique; he worked on TV shows such as Late Night with David Letterman and served as a delegate for the White House Conference for a Drug Free America after his appointment from former President Ronald Reagan.

“The reason I really wanted to be part of FFA is because it’s been on my bucket list forever as a speaker. It is nationally known,” Wanzer says. “The audience could not have been more receptive, more engaged.”
