Wylie Schwebach | 2024 American Star in Agricultural Placement

Wylie Schwebach of the Moriarty FFA chapter in New Mexico is the 2024 American Star in Agricultural Placement. His SAE involved producing grain-forage crops—including barley, alfalfa, corn silage, triticale, and wheat—across more than 2,500 irrigated acres in the Estancia Valley, marketing directly to consumers in New Mexico and west Texas, and helping develop the state’s first local malt house for craft brewers. He credits FFA with building his management, communication, and leadership skills, and plans to expand into agricultural construction and infrastructure while developing farmland across multiple states.
