Joseph Arnold | 2017 American Star Farmer

Joe Arnold of Holloway, Minnesota, and the Lac qui Parle Valley High School FFA chapter is the 2017 American Star Farmer. His supervised agricultural experience is a diversified crop farm where he grows corn, soybeans, sugar beets, navy beans, and kidney beans, adopting new technology like swath control, rate controllers, and nitrogen side-dressing to stay sustainable. A graduate of UMC, Joe has taken on major responsibilities in the family operation and plans to return and eventually take it over, continuing a multi-generational farming legacy.
