1.3 FFA Mission, Motto and Salute
This FFA Basics lesson plan teaches students the meaning of the three parts of the FFA Mission Statement (Premier Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Success), the four parts of the FFA Motto, and the FFA Salute (Pledge of Allegiance). It includes hands-on activities such as matching characteristics to mission components, creating a comic strip illustrating the motto, and a Pledge of Allegiance accuracy competition, with accompanying student handouts and answer keys.
