4.1 Rights vs. Welfare
This middle school agricultural literacy lesson teaches students to compare and contrast the concepts of animal welfare and animal rights. Through video viewing, discussion, brainstorming, and a group skit activity, students explore the differing beliefs about how humans should interact with and use animals.
