Abiggail Lozon – SAE – Micro Algae
A four-part student activity worksheet on “Green Energy” centered on algae and algal biofuels. Students watch an FFA member’s SAE video about growing micro algae, research the benefits, challenges, and cultivation methods of algal biofuel via a Stanford website, build a flow chart of the biofuel production process using a provided word bank, and finally design their own biofuel from a chosen commodity.
