Activity 7: Communication Is Key

Activity 7: Communication Is Key is a two-part student activity worksheet on influential and persuasive communication. In Part 1, students brainstorm influence-related words, unscramble the four types of influential communication, and match persuasive techniques (logic/logos, emotion/pathos, credibility/ethos) to definitions and scenarios, then build a concept map. In Part 2, students plan a two- to four-minute podcast about an agriculture misconception using logic, emotion, and credibility, assessed with an included podcast rubric.
