Advocacy: Sharing the Why

A 30-minute FFA lesson plan that introduces students to agricultural advocacy by analyzing the “John Deere: For Generations” video. Students create a class definition of advocacy, complete the “For All Generations” worksheet to identify key facts and “the why” behind John Deere’s messaging, and evaluate whether the video serves as an advocacy tool for John Deere and for agriculture.
