Advocacy – Values Based Advocacy

This is a 30-minute FFA lesson plan on Values Based Advocacy that helps students discover their personal values, the values of FFA, and how values can be used to market and advocate for agriculture. Using the Ram Trucks “Next Crop” documentary video and an accompanying worksheet, students reflect individually and then discuss in pairs or small groups how shared values can connect with consumers and promote agriculture.
