Advocacy – What Is Advocacy

This is a quick FFA lesson plan titled “What is Advocacy?” in which students develop a definition of advocacy from class discussion and the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, then use a worksheet to distinguish advocacy actions from non-advocacy actions. The lesson includes follow-up discussion questions and a “Leveling Up” extension where students take an advocacy action related to agriculture, and it comes with a student worksheet and answer key.
