Agree or Disagree
“Agree or Disagree” is a numeracy instructional strategy from the National FFA Organization in which students classify facts and figures and indicate whether they agree or disagree with statements or data before new material is introduced, then revisit their responses afterward to revise based on new information. It includes a reproducible student worksheet with before/after columns where students record agree/disagree (using “+” or “-” to indicate more or less than a stated amount). The strategy is well suited to agricultural math problems such as those in agricultural business management and construction measuring.
