This Advanced High School LifeKnowledge lesson (AHS.42) on Responsible Citizenship teaches students how to become informed on political issues, understand the responsibilities of being involved in the political process, and participate in community-based government. Through an Internet-based activity, students identify an issue they are passionate about and learn proper guidelines for contacting and writing to their elected representatives.
