AHS.8 Skill Development – Employability Skills for the 21st Century (PowerPoint)
This LifeKnowledge lesson (AHS.8), “Skill Development: Employability Skills for the 21st Century,” teaches students about the competencies, skills, and personal qualities employers seek, based on the SCANS report. Students identify the five competencies and three categories of skills/personal qualities needed in today’s workplace and develop a plan for advancing their own employability skills through assessment, classroom, FFA, and SAE activities.
