Chunking

This is a Numeracy Strategy resource from the National FFA Organization describing “Chunking,” a strategy for organizing complex mathematical problems into smaller, more manageable pieces of information so students can better handle multistep problems and multifaceted analyses. It includes a student worksheet with a chart for breaking a word problem into First, Second, and Third Chunks.
