This is a student activity worksheet in which learners role-play community members affected by the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and participate in a simulated townhall round-table discussion. Students research the RFS, write a position statement from their assigned role’s perspective, present to the class, and reflect on how energy-production decisions are made and how perspectives differ.
