Financial Planning
This Numeracy Strategy resource is an experiential learning activity in which students plan a chapter trip to the National FFA Convention & Expo by comparing transportation, housing, registration, and food options to determine the most cost-effective choice. Students calculate the price per person and the total cost for ten attendees across plane, charter bus, and rental car options (both within and outside the housing block). It can be used as practice for record books or SAE financial records.
