Food Deserts

This is a 30-minute FFA lesson plan on food deserts in which students watch a video, use the USDA interactive food desert map, and complete a worksheet to learn what it means to live in a food desert. It explores the role agriculture can play in eliminating food deserts through partner work, class discussion, and an optional planning activity.
