Four Stages of Innovation
FFA Blue 365: Lesson 2 “Four Stages of Innovation” is part of an FFA lesson series highlighting innovative technology, science, research and entrepreneurship transforming agriculture. Students define innovation, identify prominent 21st-century agricultural innovations, learn and apply a four-stage innovation model (research/external innovation, early development, late development, support), and design new products or solutions to global agricultural issues. The lesson includes a bell ringer, multiple student worksheets, leveling-up extensions, and an exit ticket connecting innovation to agricultural careers.
