Giovanni Roman – SAE – Hydroponics
This National FFA lesson plan uses a student SAE video about working with hydroponic systems in a school greenhouse to teach students about hydroponics. Through three worksheets, students compare and contrast types of “ponic” systems, examine the advantages and disadvantages of hydroponics, design their own DIY hydroponic system, and develop a plan to sustain it. The resource includes student activity sheets and answer keys.
