Goal Setting – Setting Goals
This is a National FFA Organization LifeKnowledge middle school leadership lesson (MS.15) on setting goals. Students learn to define S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Approved by you, Realistic, Time-stamped), apply the technique to five life areas, and identify reasons people fail to achieve their goals. The lesson includes an interest approach activity, teaching strategies, transparency masters, an activity sheet, and an assessment.
