GPS – HS.21 – Positive and Negative Influence
This LifeKnowledge lesson (HS.21) teaches high school students about positive and negative influence and how influence affects others and one’s performance as a leader. Through an interactive “scientific” arm-resistance activity, scenario analysis, a self-survey, concept mapping, and a Cootie Catcher review, students learn to distinguish positive from negative influence and identify ways to be a positive influence. A written assessment measures all three objectives.
