HS.1 Defining Leadership (PowerPoint)
This is a LifeKnowledge high school lesson plan (HS.1, “Defining Leadership”) from the National FFA Organization that introduces students to the concept of leadership. Through activities such as “Leadership Island,” identifying real and fictional leaders, and “Leadership Detectives,” students learn to recognize leadership characteristics, define leadership as influence, and identify everyday opportunities to lead. The lesson includes handouts, transparencies, an assessment, and application activities.
