HS.33 Understanding the Importance of Professional Ethics

This LifeKnowledge lesson (HS.33) introduces high school students to professional ethics through discussion of common real-life scenarios. Students learn to identify ethical and unethical behavior, apply six ethical decision-making criteria, list the benefits and consequences of ethical and unethical decisions, and define the term “ethics.” The lesson includes an interest-approach skit, scenario discussions, rubric-based assessments, and FFA/SAE application activities.
