HS.34 The Consequences of Ethics
This LifeKnowledge high school lesson, “The Consequences of Ethics” (HS.34), guides students to create a classroom code of ethics by examining how their actions influence the culture of a class or group. Students identify ethical and unethical classroom behaviors and their consequences, then define and apply the concepts of restorative justice and retributive justice. The lesson includes teaching strategies, activity sheets, transparency masters, application activities, and a poster rubric.
