This is a National FFA Organization LifeKnowledge lesson (HS.56, “Appreciating Differences in People”) that teaches high school students to value diversity and accept differences among people. Through interview, brainstorming, and reflection activities, students examine personal biases and stereotypes, develop sensitivity to people unlike themselves, and create personal action plans to gain new experiences.
