HS.75 Developing Common Purpose on Teams

This is a LifeKnowledge high school lesson (HS.75) on developing a common purpose on teams, part of the “Stage Two of Development—WE” unit. Using a race-themed approach with green, white, and checkered flags, students learn the benefits of a common purpose, the three steps to develop one, and then create a common purpose plan for a team they are involved in. The lesson includes an interest approach, teaching strategies, activities, an assessment, and teacher master/activity sheets.
