HS.85 Magic Formula of Presentation Planning

This LifeKnowledge lesson (HS.85) teaches students the “Magic Formula” of presentation planning—a sequential process using nine memorable icons (telephone, heart, movie clapper, pointing finger, books, application, rearview mirror, electric outlet, coming attractions) that each represents a key question to consider when creating an effective presentation. Through interactive activities, brainstorming, charades, and miming, students learn and practice each component before they build their own speeches in future lessons.
