HS.89 Conducting a One-on-One Visit

This LifeKnowledge lesson (HS.89) teaches students how to plan, conduct, and evaluate a one-on-one visit—a meeting used to communicate a personal vision and persuade another person to “buy in.” Students identify reasons and purposes for such visits, learn the eight steps to prepare for one, and practice the three parts of conducting a visit (Kicking it Off, Selling the Vision, Wrapping it Up). The lesson includes interactive activities, transparencies, activity sheets, and an assessment.
