Jackson Sylvester – Lace Up and Serve
A National FFA Organization lesson plan built around 2021-22 National FFA Secretary Jackson Sylvester’s “Lace-Up and Serve” retiring address. Students watch the video and complete the “In These Boots” worksheet, then explore service in their own lives by creating an acrostic poem, listing examples of service, writing a SMART goal, and decorating a shoe print to highlight service. The lesson teaches that service requires sacrifice and that investing in others leads to a fulfilling life.
